FAQs

DECCO Color Toner is our integral color system designed to customize your MicroCement while maintaining consistent color throughout the material. Each toner is formulated to work with the corresponding DECCO MicroCement system and selected color.
Mix the Color Toner thoroughly before use, then add the required amount to the MicroCement and mix until the color is completely uniform. Always follow the recommended toner-to-product ratio for the selected color intensity and mix thoroughly before application.
Each DECCO color can be created at different intensity levels by adjusting the amount of Color Toner added to the MicroCement:

• 100% — Full color intensity
• 75% — Lighter interpretation of the same color
• 50% — Medium-light interpretation
• 25% — Lightest interpretation

This allows you to maintain the character of the selected color while choosing how light or intense you want the final surface to appear.
Use the corresponding percentage of the Color Toner specified for the full 100% formula. For example, if the full-color formula requires one complete toner unit, use 75%, 50% or 25% of that amount to create the corresponding lighter intensity.

For best consistency, measure the toner accurately rather than estimating by eye.
Yes. The four standard intensities provide an easy reference for color selection, but custom intensities can also be created by accurately adjusting the amount of toner used. Record the exact ratio so it can be reproduced consistently throughout the project.
Yes. Always maintain exactly the same toner-to-MicroCement ratio throughout a continuous project. Variations in the amount of toner between batches may result in visible color differences.
No. For consistent results, toner should be measured accurately by weight or volume according to the applicable mixing instructions. Avoid visually estimating partial quantities.
Not necessarily. Screen settings, lighting, selected texture, application technique and sealer can all influence how a color appears. MicroCement is also a hand-applied finish with natural tonal movement. We recommend reviewing a physical sample when precise color selection is important.
Yes. Although the same color formula is used, texture, trowel movement and the way light interacts with the surface can affect the perceived color. Fine, Medium and Coarse may therefore present subtle visual differences.
100% represents the full standard intensity of the selected DECCO color. Do not exceed the recommended Color Toner ratio unless specifically instructed by DECCO, as altering the specified formulation may affect color consistency and product performance.
