This Privacy Policy describes how Bluetrade Building Materials, Inc., operating House of DECCO ("Bluetrade," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes personal information when you visit or use houseofdecco.com (the "Site"), purchase products, create an account, contact us, subscribe to marketing or otherwise interact with House of DECCO.

For purposes of applicable privacy laws, Bluetrade is generally the business or controller responsible for the personal information described in this Policy, except where another entity acts independently.

  • Payment-related information. Payments are processed through Shopify and authorized payment providers. Depending on the payment method, payment information may be processed by Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, Affirm or other providers.
  • Customer service information, including communications, inquiries, complaints, photographs and other information you provide.
  • Trade Program information, such as business name, profession, company details, project information and information submitted to evaluate eligibility.
  • Marketing information, including email subscription status, campaign interactions and marketing preferences.
  • Device and usage information, including IP address, browser, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, shopping activity, interactions with the Site and similar technical information.
  • Cookie and advertising information, including information collected through cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies.
  • Information you voluntarily submit, including reviews, forms, project information, photographs or other content.

3. How We Use Personal Information

4. Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify provides the commerce platform through which we offer products and services. As part of providing its services, Shopify may process personal information about visitors and customers, including information associated with merchant interactions, payments, devices and shopping activity.

5. Payment Providers

Transactions may be processed through:

  • Shopify Payments
  • Shop Pay
  • Affirm
  • other payment providers made available at checkout.

These providers may independently collect and process information necessary to authorize payments, prevent fraud, provide financing and comply with legal obligations. Their own privacy policies govern processing performed independently by them.

We generally do not receive or store complete payment-card credentials when they are processed directly by an authorized payment provider.

6. Affirm

If you choose Affirm, information necessary to apply for or use Affirm's financing services may be transmitted to and processed by Affirm. Affirm independently determines financing eligibility and administers its financing relationship with you under its own terms and privacy practices.

7. Analytics and Advertising

We may use analytics and advertising technologies such as Google Analytics, Google advertising technologies, Meta Pixel/Meta advertising technologies, Shopify tools and other services configured for the Site.

These technologies may collect information about devices, browsing activity, interactions, purchases or other online activity to:

  • understand Site usage;
  • measure performance;
  • attribute conversions;
  • improve advertising;
  • create audiences;
  • personalize content or advertising; and
  • measure marketing campaigns.

Depending on applicable law, some disclosures associated with targeted advertising may constitute a "sale," "sharing," or targeted-advertising processing even where Bluetrade does not receive money for personal information. Where required, we will provide applicable consent and opt-out mechanisms.

8. Email Marketing

If you subscribe to our marketing communications, we may use your email address and related engagement information to send news, product information, educational content, promotions and other House of DECCO communications.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails.

We currently do not use personal information for SMS marketing.

  • Fulfillment and logistics providers, including DECCO facilities, Authorized Fulfillment Dealers, warehouses, carriers and shipping providers, as necessary to fulfill orders.
  • Technology providers, including hosting, security, communications, customer-service and IT vendors.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, including providers used to measure Site usage or advertising performance.
  • Professional advisers, including attorneys, accountants, insurers and consultants.
  • Government and regulatory authorities, when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.
  • Corporate transaction participants, in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets or similar transaction.

We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.

11. Authorized Fulfillment Dealers

Certain orders may be fulfilled by an Authorized Fulfillment Dealer or regional fulfillment location. We may provide the information reasonably necessary to fulfill the order, such as recipient name, shipping address, products ordered and shipping information.

Authorized Fulfillment Dealers receive such information for fulfillment purposes and are not authorized by Bluetrade to use Marketplace customer information for unrelated independent marketing.

12. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining transaction and tax records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and applicable requirements.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Children's Privacy

House of DECCO is intended for adults. We do not knowingly intend to collect personal information from children through the Site for purposes inconsistent with applicable law. Purchases through the Site are limited to persons 18 years of age or older who have legal capacity to contract.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by applicable law and subject to appropriate verification.

If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a decision regarding your request, you may submit the appeal using the same contact information and identify the request as a "Privacy Appeal."

17. Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising Choices

Where required by applicable U.S. state privacy law, we will provide mechanisms enabling eligible consumers to opt out of activities legally defined as sale, sharing or targeted advertising. These mechanisms may include Shopify's Data Sharing Opt-Out Page, cookie/privacy controls or other methods.

Where required by applicable law and technically supported by our systems, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, in accordance with applicable requirements.

19. Do Not Track

Because there is not a uniform industry standard for all browser "Do Not Track" signals, the Site may not respond to every such signal. Other legally recognized opt-out preference signals will be handled where applicable.
