Yes. Tile, textured and smooth surfaces require different preparation and system build-ups. Select your existing surface to see the recommended DECCO system for your project.
Fine offers a smoother, more refined finish; Medium creates a balanced, natural texture; and Coarse delivers a more pronounced, expressive surface.
Most applications require a MicroTop Coarse base coat. The number of coats depends on the existing surface. Smooth wall applications may not require a base coat.
Fiberglass Mesh is an optional reinforcement that may be incorporated when additional substrate stability or reinforcement is required.
Yes. DECCO MicroCement can be used on shower walls and floors when the appropriate system is installed over a properly prepared substrate and sealed according to DECCO Installation Guidelines.
Allow a minimum of 7 days after the final sealer coat before exposing the surface to water. Proper curing is essential for the system to develop its intended performance.
Requirements depend on the substrate, application and existing waterproofing system. MicroCement should not be considered a substitute for any waterproofing assembly required by applicable building codes. The underlying shower or wet-area assembly should be properly constructed and waterproofed before the decorative finish is applied.
