Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to eligible purchases made through the House of DECCO Marketplace operated by Bluetrade Building Materials, Inc. ("Bluetrade," "we," "us" or "our"). For damaged, missing or incorrect products, please see our Shipping Policy.
1. Return Window
Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to this Policy. A return must be approved before products are shipped back. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for return, products generally must be:
- unused;
- unopened;
- unaltered;
- undamaged;
- in resalable condition; and
- in their original packaging.
Proof of purchase may be required.
3. Final Sale / Non-Returnable Products
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the following are Final Sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
- Color Toners;
- tinted products;
- custom-colored products;
- made-to-order or customized products;
- opened or used products;
- samples and sample products;
- products altered after delivery; and
- products otherwise identified as Final Sale before purchase.
4. Return Shipping
Unless the return results from an error by House of DECCO or an eligible product defect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
The customer bears responsibility for properly packaging the return. We recommend using a trackable and appropriately insured shipping method.
5. Restocking Fee
Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The fee does not apply where prohibited by law. It also does not apply where House of DECCO determines that the return resulted from an incorrect shipment or another circumstance for which the fee should not apply.
6. Original Shipping Charges
Original shipping, freight, expedited delivery and accessorial charges are generally non-refundable. The exceptions are returns that result from an error attributable to House of DECCO, or cases where applicable law requires otherwise.
Where an order received promotional or Free Shipping, actual outbound shipping costs may be taken into account when determining the refundable amount for a discretionary return, to the extent permitted by law and disclosed as applicable.
7. Refunds
Once an approved return is received and inspected, House of DECCO will determine whether it satisfies the return requirements.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method, less applicable restocking fees, shipping charges and other authorized deductions.
Bank, card issuer, financing provider or payment-service processing times may affect when funds become available. For purchases made using Affirm or another financing provider, refund processing may also be subject to that provider's procedures.
8. Exchanges
House of DECCO is not required to offer direct product exchanges. Where appropriate, an eligible return may be processed and a new order placed separately.
9. Installed or Used Materials
Customers should verify products, quantities and colors before installation.
Products that have been installed, mixed, tinted, applied, opened or otherwise used generally cannot be returned. If you believe a product is defective, contact House of DECCO before continuing installation or use.
10. Variations in Decorative Finishes
Natural or application-related variations in microcement color, texture, movement and appearance do not necessarily constitute product defects.
The finished appearance may be influenced by several factors. These include substrate, application method, installer technique, number and thickness of coats, sanding, sealing, lighting and site conditions.
11. How to Request a Return
To request a return, contact info@heydecco.com and include your:
- name;
- House of DECCO order number;
- product(s) to be returned;
- quantity; and
- reason for the return.
If approved, return instructions will be provided. Do not ship products back until authorization has been issued.
